Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026

Boncuk is made for kids, and we built it the way we would want an app on our own kid's iPad to work. The short version: we do not collect any personal information from children, and we do not share data with anyone.

This page explains, in plain language, what happens with information when you (or your child) use Boncuk.

Who we are

Boncuk is published by Creative Factory ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time at hi@creativefactory.tr.

What we collect

Nothing personal. Boncuk does not ask for, collect, or transmit:

  • Names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
  • Photos, contacts, microphone or camera data
  • Location data, IP address, or device identifiers used for advertising
  • Birthdays, schools, or any other identifying information

The only thing the app keeps is your child's game progress (which levels were played, stars earned, best times) and app preferences (sound on/off, haptics on/off, age band picked at the start). All of this is stored only on the device, it never leaves the iPhone or iPad.

We do not use cookies, web tracking, or analytics. We do not have a server that receives any of this data.

Age band

When the app starts, it asks which age range fits your child best ("5 and under", "6 to 8", "9 to 11"). This is used only inside the app to tune the difficulty of the math drills. It is not a birthday, it is not stored against a name, and it is never sent anywhere.

Third parties

Boncuk does not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The only outside service it interacts with is Apple StoreKit, and only when a grown-up chooses to buy a subscription or one-time purchase. Apple processes the payment, we never see your card details or Apple ID.

In-app purchases

Buying, restoring, or canceling a subscription is handled entirely by Apple. Before any purchase screen opens, the app asks for a grown-up to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. This is the parental gate Apple requires for kids apps.

Data deletion

There is nothing on our servers to delete, everything lives on the device. If you want to wipe your child's progress and preferences:

  • In the app: Settings, then "Reset progress" (a grown-up confirmation is required).
  • From the device: delete the app. iOS removes all of its local data.

If you have any question about this, write to hi@creativefactory.tr.

Children under 13 and under 18

We design Boncuk specifically for children. Because we do not collect any personal information at all, we do not need parental consent under COPPA or KVKK to operate. We do require a grown-up to confirm before any purchase, settings change, or progress reset.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Boncuk handles information, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above. Material changes (for example, ever adding any kind of data collection) will also be flagged inside the app before they take effect.
